March 2025 marked an exciting month for the Hungarian automotive market, with 13,199 new cars hitting the road, reflecting a +2.4% year-on-year improvement. The Q1 tally shows a +3.8% increase, with a total of 32,899 cars sold! Key Highlights from March: Suzuki dominates the brands ranking with a significant 11.7% share, maintaining its lead despite a slight -13.9% decline in Q1. Toyota follows with 9.5%, showing consistent performance. Nissan had a remarkable surge, climbing seven spots from February, claiming 3rd place with 8.8% of the market. Skoda and Volkswagen round out the Top 5, while Dacia saw significant movement, rising two ranks to 9. Notable Growth: BYD leads the charge with an incredible +264.6% increase in Q1, showcasing the dynamic rise of electric vehicles. Ford posted strong growth with +118.2%, along with impressive results from Kia (+38.5%), Renault (+24.8%), and Mercedes (+21.1%).
